30 Caliber 165 grain GOLD plastic tip. I think I bought these during one of those BIG time MidSouth bullet sales. Who made them and what "model" are they? Don't limit your challenges . . . Challenge your limits

Could they be Norma bullets?? Or maybe Remington Accutip. They are the only ones I remember having a goldish tip. If the tip is yellowish and rounded I would say Norma. If the tip is gold, sharply pointed and the bullet looks like it is Secant Ogive [like a Hornady] it may be the Remington Accutip. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

Boy! The Bronze Point has been around for many years! I once saw some Remington-made 7.62X54R (called 7.62mm Russian on the Rem. box.) ammo loaded with them, and that was around 1953. I do believe they date from the mid-1930's. Last I heard, Rem. was still making them, but maybe no longer. "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser. Dahin haben die Kuhen gesheissen."

I'm thinking Remington Accutip--aren't they using a gold plastic tip? Formerly "the444shooter" I think I had about 73,000 posts before I had to re-register God Bless and Shoot Straight God is a comedian playing to an audience afraid to laugh--Voltaire
