KYODE300 weatherby mag......loads?
what is the best powder, or what is your best load for the 300 weatherby magnum?
i have a buddy that got a real nice price on a weatherby vanguard at wal-mart. he's thinkin on taking up reloading to ease the pain of buyin factory ammo. i may be the one to give him a start.....so i'm lookin for the info. i've never reloaded this caliber, but i'm guessing 180gr bullets with IMR7828 or H1000.....or
thanks a bunch

N. GarrettI reload for this caliber (for my father's rifle), and I've played with multiple bullet weights and brands.
I have gotten the most consistent accuracy with RL-22 in this particular rifle, and so I keep going back to it.
I your friend will enjoy being able to reload for it, since it makes it even more versatile.

kmanI use 85gr of IMR 7828, 180gr tsx, weatherby brass, 215M federal primers, 3.66 COL.
It's an over max load for normal barnes x. Works fine in my rifle though.
