I am lookingfor a .30 cal. 180 gr. hunting bullet that is very accurate and performs well waydown range for a .300 WSM. A boattail spitzer ofsome type. Is there one that is more inherently accurate than the others? Cost is also a factor as I intend to shoot a lot of them.

Heard some good things about Accubonds. Just started with them so I'm by no means an expert. I'll be trying some in 7mag with 160gr. hopefully sometime this week.

I suggest Hornady's 180 interlock boat tail

My vote would be the Barnes Triple Shock. I have not found a rifle yet out of about 20 that I load for that did not like the TSX best. Accubonds second.

The high ballistic coefficients and structural integrity of those 2 will make for excellent downrange performance. JMHO

.30cal70, I have had great luck with the 180 gr. Accubonds as well as the XXX's, but given your cost comment, I would consider checking out the Nosler factory second AB's. I have shot a bunch and I think the differences are only cosmetic, I have weighed them, measured them and the only thing I see from time to time is either some different color plastic tip, or discoloration of the copper.

Good Luck--Don
