I see a conversion kit

that seems to fix the issue of continually wearing retaining springs around the shell plate. But I see that it requires replacement of all shell plates with the newer ones.
Anyone out there think this is worth the 30 dollar investment for the conversion and 6-8 week wait to have the shell plates reqorked by Hornady for 10.00 each?
