Chad, IMO your over-thinking this issue. All of the following powders will work in the 375 H&H with the 250 TTSX, 250 GMX, or 260 Accubond, and they include A 2700, H414, N540, REL -17, IMR - 4350, W760, A4350, H4350, N550, REL -15, N203B, and N204. Some are available to order now at Midway USA, including the venerable IMR4350! All will give roughly the same results, and those critters are not going to know the difference in a well aimed shot to the vitals. Make a decision, get a chronograph, load some ammo, and go shooting. AIU

I agree totally!!! I was advocating him trying R-17 for several reasons: #1 he could buy some to try locally...and Re-15 & 17 have been the best 2 powders for in the .375 H&H. IMR 4350 and Re-17 are pretty similar in my experience with Re-17 being better for 300's. I have not shot any 250's. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Yeah, over thinking is my specialty , it's kinda my profession, actually I honestly am only going through these gyrations because I can't get what I planned on from the beginning of this project, and what I know will deliver what I need. If RL15 were still available to me, I would not be posting these questions at all. But basically, I just need a powder that will push that 260 accubond to 2750 with good accuracy, safely. RL17 is all I can get right now, but 4064 might be possible. If I order, there are more choices, but ordering requires me to really commit to several pounds of powder or it's just too expensive. So I am basically trying to find out for as certain as possible, what should I use to hit that velocity with that bullet. Barsness just answered a few questions for me so I think RL17 (on the shelf at the store) is the place to start because it's available and it will hit the number, and I can buy 1 can and not commit too much should my rifle hate it. There is also a gunshow in town this weekend, I'll check there too for other single can options to try...unless RL15 is there, then I will buy all I can and be happy!

Well, I got skunked. By the time I got down there to get the RL17, it was all gone. Frustrating.
