I have a box of these I was going to try in a 25-06 but not sure if they are a hunting bullet has a cannelure but nothing about interlock on box just spire point.

Hunting bullet. Not explosive as in a varmint bullet but OK on thin skinned animals like a deer.

great for deer and yotes.
I shoot either the I-lock marked 100gr. version or the speer 100gr controlled expansion bullet in my 25-06's.
I think the speer would be damn near the perfect bullet for the 257 Roberts.
I haven't had a single deer go more than 2 steps with either bullet in the 0-6 version running them right about 3,000 fps.
