BNagelUse .280 Remington data. (I have both and the loads are the same.)

jeffeosso www.grafs.com and buy hornady loaded ammo cheaper than brass and bullets..
this is the only factory ammo, in a non-milsurp rifle (or 22) that i've shot in a LONG time

jeffeosso*I* wouldn't use 280 data .. unless its 5% lower than starting data

miklorThanks Jeffeosso, I bought some 162 Gr. SST from Graf for 19.99 a box but i really wanted to load 140 Gr. accubond and 154 Gr. Hor. Spir pt. two bullets I've had great luck with.

Panchojeffeosso is correct. 280 less 5% is about right in my 7x64. Max 280 data resulted in way high pressure in the 7x64. I shoot mainly 160 gr weights and am very happy with it.

I do not "push envelopes" but stop when, with published data, the group is accurate. If you play expert with maxing out loads you are in different territory. In all cases drop down 10% and work up because YMMV.

jeffeossoBnagel ..
thanks for clarifying that .. "most" people jump right in at middle or top loads.. but using bottom /mild loads and working up, well, yeah, that's a great idea
