My experience with these bullets is that to find the one that shoots best you have to try them both. For years I used the 85 grain Sierra bthp and the 87 grain Hornady with good results pushing them near 3400 fps out of a standard 6MM remington. I used the 85 grain Partition on a few deer in Texas and liked the other bullets better. Currently I have 100 grain Hornady boattails loaded to around 3100 ready for my antelope hunt in Wyoming. | |||

Another vote for Hornady. You can buy more expensive bullets but IMHO the "advantage" will be mostly in your head. | |||

Another vote for Sierra's 85gr.HPBT.Performs exceptionally well, try um and you'll like um. Same goes for 100gr. Sierra spitzer in .25 cal Stepchild 2 | |||
