<STARTING BIG BORE>
posted
I know there are a lot of people on the forum that have this rifle. What I want to know is has any one loaded the 650 grain Mil. pulled bullets and what was the max load, powder and velocity they were able to get. Also is the reloading data in the reloading section of this site good or are they a little elevated. I have a place to start, but I don't know what to expect or when to start swetting. I don't have a crono, so that is why I am asking......Dan P. ( this is a 1917 enfield with a 28" barrel it wieghs 15lbs what can I expect for recoil I am a little worried about recoil never touched off anything this big)

You probably should ask this question in the Big Bore forum, or just search the archives. 500 A^2 loads have been posted in just the last week.

And buy a chrono! If you can afford to feed that beast, you can afford a $60 chrono!
