I shot some 180gr Bergers that did very well as a target load for accuracy but only 2700 to 2800fps in a 7mm-300 Weatherby. Not much better than a .308 Winchester with 168gr at 2700 fps. If anyone has any loading experience with this bullet- give me your suggestions

Where did you get the 7mm Bergers?? I have been trying to get them for nearly a year now and everyone has been out with no expected delivery date from Berger. I had them going about 3100 fps with H1000 and RL25. I don't remember the exact load, but I can look it up and post the exact velocities and powder in a later post.

Opps, I forgot to mention, I was using a close cousin to the 7mm-300 Wby, the 7mm STW. The load should be close. I have a friend who has the 7mm-300 Wby and he always get slightly faster results than I could achieve with my 7mm STW.
