Get "Any shot you want" the A-Square reloading manual. It has multiple loads for the .470 and .500 I guess you'd want a set of dies (either FL or neck-sizing). Maybe a trim die, too. Brass, bullets, and powder. And a press big enough for those rounds, like the new cast iron Lee press. And the book. There's some data for both calibers in the Barnes manual, too. I'm curious if anybody else reads this thread, do you mostly FL or neck-size your double rifle loads? Steve

for a double , i do a partial resize , just enough to guarantee they will fit , and in either chamber as some are different enough to be finikey ! but mine is a 45 120 sharps . a good old lyman #47 manual is what i used to learn how to reload , but the barns book is excellent ! if it was me id go for a double in 375 h&h , but the 470 is good stopper , the one i shot seemed very accurate , just liked all loads to be same speed to maintain point of impact at 100 m . good luck and have all the fun you can with whatever you do get , if it is a 470 let me know as i have some bullets for them , i tried them in my 475 a&m mag , and shoot well . brent
