Shotgun Shell Cleaning

Hello Group,
I've got a big box full of shotgun shell hulls that I picked up in my Sporting Clays days. They've been sitting for a couple years, collecting dust and spider webs.
I've re-focused attention on shotgun sports, and thought it might be nice to crank out some ammo on the ole MEC some night. My wife won't like it if I run the shells through the washing machine (you know how it is...), and I'm trying to think of something I can soak them in, rinse them out, and air dry before reloading. Any suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, George.

Well she mind if you put them in something first like a old pillow case.. That about the only way I clean them.

That's a great idea, but I don't think I could get away with it. My wife's German & Irish, which means a hair-trigger temper with conviction! See doesn't appreciate the beauty of clean shotgun shells as much as you and I do...

Take the suckers to the local laundromat if your wife controls the household..
