I use the Macintosh version of Shooting Lab, but there is another version for the PC. This is the best ballistics program I have ever used. It does everything other programs do, and it also preforms recoil calculations, has at least 50 (may be even more) targets one can print in low or high resolution, etc.

I paid $100.00 for mine, but I have already upgraded it four times in one year (free upgrades). Their web address is: www.shootingsoftware.com

Ray, do you use the chronograph or the interface that Jim Ristow's software uses?

I like the bad-guy target that he packages. I was admonished severely for using it at my range (NO HUMINOID TARGETS PAL!).

Best regards,
Alex

Alex: I don't use the setup Jim has. I have an old Beta Chrony.

When I was gathering information about Shooting Lab, I talked for about an hour on the telephone with Jim. It is a 800 number, but I was surprised to know he could explain so much about hunting and other stuff without worrying about the long distance call. I was impressed to say the least.

He has a new downloadable file with high resolution targets for those who have high resolution printers. I downloaded that one last night.

The easiest program calculating trajectories from your data. BC. and chrono adjustable with possibilities to adjust for wind, temp and altitude is Odd Hvard Skeviks PCB old DOS that you can download for free at
http://home-2.worldonline.nl/~jhogema/pcb/pcb.htm

Gustavos LoadBase 1.0 also have this facilities.

True MOA you will get from your old Math book! Something with Tangens and angels
Good luck/
