Ok I bought a box of Barnes Banded Solids (300gr. .375) to load for my 375H&H. I have loaded Swift 300gr. A Frames with no problems but when doing the exact same thing but using the Barnes Bullets they are loose. I mean even slight pressure and they fall back into the case and can easily be pulled back out???? I'm not crimping as its a Ruger No.#1. I don't have a clue its like they are undersized but the mic says they are not. They mic at .375 I'm at a loss here. What in the world am I doing wrong? Live Your Dreams

Hello RWSII, Hope you have that big whitetail tied to the fence post by now. Mic the Swifts and compare measurements to the Barnes. Resize a couple of peices of brass with out the expander ball. Clean the expander ball, sometimes it will accumulate gunk and change neck tension.

Hey Quarter Round Long time no hear! Hope alls well with you and yours. I'll try that and see if it helps. Thanks Haven't saw the 150 Buck this year YET! He was still alvive well and doing fine last day of season last year. About 1000yds. away! LOL Biggest I've seen to date this year is a 125-130 buck. Lots of 2 1/2yr. olds in the 80-100 class. But i'll be looking for Mr.Big again this year. Managed to take 112 and 124 bucks last year. Thought the 112 was bigger (ground shrink LOL) Good Luck this fall, have a safe one. Ok I found the problem! I at first just hastily mic'd them and saw they were .375 bullets. But going back and getting down tight and to the nitty gritty they mic'd .372 so they are undersized. I'll contact Barnes and se if they will swaop me out. Thanks All! Live Your Dreams
