Jamison brass
Does anyone have any experience with Jamison brass? I'm wondering about the quality .

Terrible luck in .505 Gibbs, bought 40 loaded 20 and 14 of them split in various places on the first firing. I won't buy any more of it if I can find an alternative.

I have done OK with their brass in 577NE and 50-110Win, But I don't shoot many rounds a year with these big bores. Just enough to sight in and go chase cape buffalo.

Decent luck with their 416 Remington and 470 NE. I anneal as well (AMP) and the primer pockets are still tight with multiple reasonable loads.

I have used quite a bit of the now unfortunately unavailable Jamison brass, mostly in older, obsolete cartridges like the 1876 Winchester series and also 35 Remington. Never had a problem with any of it. Their quality control was much better than Bertram and it certainly cost a lot less.

Good luck with it in 470NE, 500NE, and 577NE.
