I'm looking for a load in 35 Whelen. I will be using 250 grain Hornady S.P. Any suggestions?

Reloader-15 is a splendid powder in this caliber.

Don't overlook IMR4064. I am using 54grs and the Hornady 250s and getting excellent accuracy and 2477fps in my 24" barrel..and that is not the max load in my rifle...

You might want to try some 225gr sierra BTs too..they shoot really well and velocity is up close to 2700fps...using 53gr of IMR4064...

Like always..work up in your rifle..YMMV...

My best loadwith the 250 grain bullets is 56.5 gr of VV N-140 for 2600 fps.Good results with same charge of Varget also
