Donato: Thanks. Would you break that down for 140, 160, 175 grain bullets? Or do you find they work well interchangeably?

One of my better loads in 7X57 150gr. psp Rem. 41gr. Accurate 2520, CCI Mag. primer for 2600ft/sec. from a 19" barrel. Have also been having good results with Accurate 2230-C and it is very reasonably priced roger

TJ: I have 3 7 x 57s myself. It just ended up that way. I love that cartridge, or at least have learned to. I try to load some of the faster powders as a pound last longer and alot of them give me better accuracy in the under 30/06 size cases. In the 7 x57 size case and similar cases ( 6mm Rem, 6.5 x 57) I found a powder that I had not had much experience with at the time. IMR 3031. I use 40 grains of it with all my 7 x 57 loads, to include the 175 grainers. I load from 139 to 175s. Accuracy was eyepopping in one rifle that was real finicky. Everything else gave 4 to 5 inch groups with it. IIMR 3031 gave me a group I could cover with a dime at 100 yds with the 4 x scope mounted on that rifle. I have started using a lot of 3031 after that. However it is my to go to powder, and 40 grains is my to go to load in the 7 x 57. Point of impact at 100 yds is the same regardless of bullet weight. I use 140s and 150 grain Remington Corelokts for deer hunting, and 160 grain Speers and 175 grain Remingtons for Elk hunting. Velocity is 2650 fps with the latter two loads. good luck and good shooting cheers seafire

I have three rifles in 7x57, and most of the loading I've done for them has been with a couple of versions of 4350. Mostly because I once had a lot of 4350 on hand, and now it's nearly gone. I want to try other powders and I'd like to hear from those of you who have preferences for other powders in this caliber. What I'm looking for is accuracy over velocity. I'm not looking to get magnum performance. In fact, I'd prefer to get best accuracy at less than maximum pressures, whenever possible. Any weight bullet. Accuracy over velocity. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I started out with H4350. It works so well I've never even considered trying something else.

I use the 7x57R version. Light bullets ~100-120 grains I use N150 with excellent result. Heavier bullets Norma 204, which is in the same ball park as H4350.
