I've got a listing from an article in Guns & Ammo a while ago, it's : Samson 55gn FMJ, Fed 210 primer, Frontier case and start load of 36gns, max of 40gn giving 3,675fps from a 25" pressure barrel. My Speer No.11 manual gives 35.5 min @ 3221fps and 39.5 @ 3595 with Speer 55gn FMJ & Spitzer
Never tried any of these loads though because we're somewhat limited with powder here. Hope that helped mate.

I have used 38.5gr 760 with good results with a 60 gr. Hornady HP. I get better accuracy with IMR-3031 using a moderate load of 34.5 gr. with the 60gr.
For 55 gr. bullet, my Speer Manual #13 shows a max load of 760 at 39.5 gr. @ 3449 fps muz. velosity and a start load of 35.5 @2949 fps mv. They recommend a magnum primer. My Hodgden 2008 manuel data is about the same. I like H-380 better for accuracy in the 55 gr. bullet. Merg
My 22-250 recipe is 42.0 W760 with a Remington 55 HPPL and CCI-200 primer. This is a max load and a standard primer. In my rifle (24" light sporter Shilen #2 barrel) I get 3700 fps and under 3/4" groups. Been using this load for about 17 years now.
W-760 is the only powder I've ever used for 25 years in the 22-250. The Lyman manual's max is 42 grains with the 55 gr bullet. My gun shoots it at about 3900 fps with a 55 gr bullet.........no pressure signs and great accuracy. It's a custom gun.
I know that there are many other good powders available for use in the 22-250 and in fact my current load of 39.2 grs of H-380 works very well with 55gr Hornady V_Max bullets. The reason for my question is I have had a pound of this powder on my bench for serveral seasons and would like to use it. The various manuls do show listings for Win-760 and I was looking for information from actual users. Thanks for the replys.

40.0 grains of WW760 and the old 52 grain GM Speer HP were the ticket for me back in late 70's and early 80's. Looking in my reloading logbook, there are about 3200 of them loaded this way!! They shot great and killed vermin with authority! Sadly that particular bullet is no longer available. GHD

You can substitute your WW760 for recipes listing H414. They are the same powder name-branded differently. Work up as usual.
