Just because somthing didn't happen does not mean it wont happen (think of Russian Roulet).
One time I read that cross fire between cylinders of a C&B revolver was impossible ??.

very good to know. Thanks for the link. I guess I was wrong to say that I thought reloading over carpet was dangerous but was right to not be concerned over static electricity from a shop vac hose.
