When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I hear ya

Big Bear and Scheels in Great Falls, MT are pretty well stocked (and remain stocked). Looks like the boys in Central MT are done filling their horde.

That is a good price. Here in NE Pa our local shops have been getting them in but they where gone the same day. They are starting to keep them now. WLR's are getting 23.95 1k not bad I would say. Powder is keeping stock also. I just wish we can get some of the surplus powders again. Boon

My sentiments exactly. I have a good friend who owns a small town hardware store. Just three weeks ago he had a gentleman come in and tell him something to the effect of "I know I'm late to the party, but I'm going to buy $10,000 worth of ammunition from you if you can get it for me within the next few weeks." My friend assured him that he would get him whatever he wanted.

In other words, the gentleman was more or less saying that now that current wave of paranoia has just about subsided, he wants to become paranoid. What a great time to be in the gun and ammunition business!

As for me, I'm not ready yet. I'm waiting a few years for the widow to start cleaning out old Fred's closets so I can buy dozens of boxes of never-opened primers, powder, and bullets for a fraction of what her late husband spent on them. Just like I did about five years after Bill Clinton was elected, although I'm not sure that I'll ever get THAT horde used up before I'm "called home" myself.

Well paranoid or not I haven't ordered powder primers or many other items since 2002 .

An don't want to burn all my Federal match stuff for load development .

I still have Everything else , however I'm looking into primers because at the rate I shoot

I won't in a few years . That may sound silly or absurd to some of you but I assure you It's not !.

Now I'm No hoarder I simply try to purchase in Bulk when ever I can .

It's a simple matter of shipping Haz Mat an economics . I've held off for a number of years and wish to

do so again !. archer archer archer

Shockingly enough yes. The local store in Euless, Texas had three bricks of 215Ms last week. I failed to ask where they got them. Overall, they've got a decent stock if you'll use CCI.
