Gentlemen,

I found 5 bags of Lyman ceramic media, and I have no idea what it is used for.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I found the following statement about ceramic media on the Lyman website. I assume it is used when moly coating bullets in a tumbler.

MOLY MEDIAS
Q: How does the Ceramic media differ from Steel shot?
A: Ceramic is a hard, smooth material that works very well for moly coating. It is slightly faster than steel shot and less costly.

Not sure about the Lyman, but I used to use a Burr Bench with cerimic spheres to polish bow risers (prior to anodizing).
For that job we ran them damp with a "soap" solution (it acted both as a lubricant and to carry away the removed material).
