I am looking for anybody's experience with loads for this cartridge particularily with Accurate Arms Powder (my personal favorite). I have a Polish M44 carbine that I'm tinkering with since a friend bet me that I couldn't make a decent white tail deer rifle for under $100.00. I'll post some pics of my project later, but for now I'm looking for loads. I chronographed some mil surplus loads that were running around 2650 fps (!?) which is above any of the loading manuals I have. These rounds shot consistently, and fairly well. I will be using Sellier and Bellot Brass because the whole project, ammo and all has to cost less than $100.00. Thanks.

7.62x54R "Modern Relaoding: Richard Lee, 180 gr 38.7 gr, 2.952" 2454 fps I like the Sierra .311" dia 180 gr SPT bullets the best in my 91/30. I have also used the Remington 180 gr bullets. I can neck size the 7.62x54R cases by not resizing all the way. This is Reloaded with neck sized cases, CCI 200, 2.843" OAL, and IMR4895 powder I reloaded again: I like Lapua brass much better than S&B. The S&B Boxer brass has two The factory loaded ammo: I have been getting the rifle on the paper with surplus ammo from
