Looking for loads for the Nosler 110 gr Accubond in the .25-06 Remiongton.Rifle is Ruger M77 All-Weather (SS/composite 24" med. bbl.Last year I tried a Nosler load, up to 59 grs of Retumbo but did NOPT get decent accuracy nor expected vel., vel. was 150/200 fps lower than Nosler data suggested.
I currently have H4350, H4831SC, RL22, and Retumbo available.
I am wide open to suggestions.
Thanks
HL

I tried IMR 4350 and RL22 with the 110 AB's and got the same results. Fair accuracy. Certainly huntable but not as good as I have gotten with AB's in my 30-06 and 338 WM.

My MV's were about the same as the Nosler Load book. As I increased MV, accuracy decreased though.

I recently bought some 100gr Barnes TSX's and some 110 gr Nosler BT's to try in it but haven't loaded them up yet. I'm guessing the BT's won't be any better than the AB's though.

85gr Nosler BT's with IMR 4350 did shoot well and will be the "varmint" load for the rifle. Still working on the "larger" game load.

Good luck

The 1-10 twist in the 25 cal. rifles is marginal for the heavier bullets. Some guns shoot them, some don't. IMO, rifle manufacturers should consider providing 1-9 twist for hunting guns.

Does anyone have a good experience using the 110 gr. Accubonds in a 1-10 twist barrel?

I've loaded some for range testing using IMR 4831 data for the 115 gr. Nosler. I should be able to report on them soon.
My best accuracy in 25-06 has come from 100 gr spitzers and bullets shorter than those.
I'm still hopeful.

I've decided to bag the Accubonds for the 25-06. I was able to shoot a ~.75" ragged hole with 15 rounds loaded with 100 gr. Barnes TSX's and 52 gr. RL-19 today. I'm done with bullet selection, I'll monkey around with powder weight a little.

Looks like my 25-06 doesn't like 110 gr. Accubonds.

My tube is a 1-10 twist Douglas SS air gauged.

My HS Precision did not like the 110 AB, I too settled on 100 TSX with IMR4831 and it shots great.

My best group at the range today was 1.8" using IMR 4831 under the 110 Accubond. This is from a rifle that shoots the 75 V-Max into 1" at 200 yards.
Velocity was about 3060.

I have gotten good accuracy in a long throated Rem 700 with 7828 at 3150fps. Performance on mule deer and antelope was excelent, complete pass throughs with good penetration and expansion 300yds and 120yds.

My model 700 does not like accubonds. It does, however shoot TSX's very well.
