I got one for Christmas. Overall I really like it. It takes around 35 to 40 seconds to dispense a 60 grain charge if you start without any powder in the pan. If you throw a charge that is 1 grain short and let it dispense the rest it really speeds things up (takes 5 to 10 seconds total). Accuracy runs 0.1 grains (but usually no variation if proper procedures are followed). The downside is twofold. Number one is the 30 minute warm-up time (but it does not seem to make a great deal of difference if you shorten this time considerably). Number two is the difficulty changing to a different powder. This is much easier if you position the measure near the edge of you reloading bench (or on a separate table as suggested, since vibrations from loading can affect readings if your bench is not sturdy). This makes it easier to turn the unit around to get to the spout on the back to empty it. Next you must run the dispenser manually to clear out the dispensing tube. Then you have to remove the powder reservoir, and use the supplied brush to sweep the last grains of powder into the spout. It is not recommended that you turn the measure upside down due to the possibility of damaging the sensing/weighing device. This doesn't take as long as it sounds like it would, but still makes changing powders a bit of a chore. It is sensitive to air currents, so don't use in an area that has much air flow (air conditioning vent, fan, open window, etc). You can close the clear plastic lid while dispensing if necessary to cut out this air flow. This may sound like a critical review, but it is not. As stated above, I like it. I DEFINITELY WOULD get another knowing what I do now. It makes changing powder weights a breeze (just enter the new weight on the keypad and dispense), so loading a few rounds of several different weights when doing load development is much easier than with a manual powder dispenser. Did I mention that I like it ? Jim

DJM, I bascially agree with previous post except that mine only funtioned for about a week. I returned and exchanged for RCBS powdermaster and I've been happy ever since.

Also got one as a Christmas gift, and it seems to be a great addition to the bench. I would agree with mbogo's comments except one thing. The only time I bypassed the warmup period (after about 10 min), I thought it was throwing the right charge (checked against a beam unit), but a later check had it throwing 2 grains low on a 19.0 gr charge. Many pulled bullets later, I now let it go thru the full 30 min. If you are loading a 223 case or smaller, it will have a new charge ready by the time you seat the bullet on the previous charge. And the cute little "powder pal" funnel/tray is nice, except being plastic it develops a bit of static. I'll have to wash it in dish detergent.
