the above p[ost says it I guess. I have a vibratory tumbler and it woks great for all cases from pistol to large rims like my 45-70. I am fond opf the Frankford Arsenal kit from Midwayusa.com. I don't care too much for the rotary case seperator though asnI own it. I would save a couple of Dollars and get the kit withthe prospector style pan. Easyto use and store.

I prefer vibratory tumblers. I have two Lyman Turbo 2200 units with the auto-flo feature. I keep one loaded with treated walnut and the other with treated corncob. The walnut is for really bad cases, and the corncob is for following the walnut tumbling, and for clean cases. http://stevespages.com/cleancases.html

my friend got me a thumbler tumbler vibratory tumbler for x-mas a couple of yrs ago. i like it real well and a while back someone asked what was the best way to cases out of a tumbler. the best way i've found is to go to wally mart and get the smallest cat litter scoop you can find. just scoop out the cases and shake the media off em.

i hate to say this, but all my range pick-up 9mm go in a net bag into the washing machine, on the hottest wash 90c with detergent, then after get thrown into a bucket of acetone to remove the water, then spread out to dry on a towel...yes, i KNOW its toxic, inflammable, etc, so don't try this at home, but they come out lovely, no dirt, mud, grit....then i decap, etc. i only do this with pistol , not rifle cases.
