Don't much agree that the charges are "honest" but I buy from them most of the time anyway. I have a C & R license, so my dealer cost savings more than offset the shipping charge excess.

I got in the habit of shopping them first as they usually offer more of the items I need than any of the others, and I prefer "one stop" shopping.

When Midway changed their policy,it was without advance notice. Were they so close to bankruptcy that they had to take an immediate emergency measure? I doubt it. Larry Potterfield said its my company--my decision--I made it--take it or leave it--I'm going on safari. Because this decision was immediate--those that had items on backorder were charged shipping---that's not what they bargained for. Potterfield reneged. It was NOT the CUSTOMERS fault that Midway didnt have it in stock---yet it was the customer that was penalized. Do you really think it would have closed down Midway to have done the proper thing and paid that postage? I think Potterfield was born rich and has the same type attitude as Jerry Jones(Dallas Cowboy owner)who was also born rich. Both spring loaded to the asshole posistion. I quit buying from Midway. Based on their treatment of folks with stuff on backorder,it's obvious they will screw you given the chance.
