what type of action/gun do you shoot. does this powder level show signs of pressure? like to hear your experiences using your 280 ackley on game.

There are loads listed for the 7 x 64 Brenneke, which they describe as being virtually identical to the .280 Remington.

The closest bullet they list for that is a 139 Hornady and VV N140. Max load listed is 48.6 grains 2890 fps and 56,500 psi (piezo electric).

Anyone with either a barnes manual or a VV manual....280AI vv N-165....barnes 140XBT...need min and max loads please. Also need them for IMR4831 with same bullet. Thnx in advance.

Barnes manual doesn't list the 280 AI. However, I have one and that is the bullet I use in it. I use RL22. Starting load would be about 60 grains, and max is 65-66 grains. I load 65 grains for 3175 fps actual velocity with excellent accuracy.
