.366torqueIMR Enduron 4451 30-06?
I'm interested in developing loads in the 30-06, with 175 grain LRX bullets.
Any of you distinguished gentlemen play with any loads similar?
Looking at IMRs site, they put the burn rate close to their 4350, albeit a tad slower.
It'll be burned in a 26" heavy barrel.
Thanks in advance
Bruce

RMillerWith 175 Barnes LRX bullets I used Reloder -17 and IMR 4064.
Both do 2800 fps with that bullet out of my sons Mossberg ATR 30-06.

Austin Huntersame burn rate as H4350.
I did loads for my buddies Tikka T3 30-06 with a 22.43" barrel.
Lapau brass, CCI #200 primers, 180 gr Scirocco at 3.34"
53.5 gr RL 17 - 2,708 fps
56.0 gr H4350 - 2,680 fps
I used H4350 for my 404 J, so going with that, but bumping to 56.5 gr to hit 2,700 fps. both loads above <.75"
Same load should work for the Barnes. The bullet is a smidge longer, but the bands will reduce the pressure. Maybe start .5 to 1 gr below above if you are concerned.
The Scirocco has a higher BC and is 180 gr if it matters. I used TTSX in my 300 WBY, but think Scirocco and Accubonds are about perfect for the 30-06.

Barstool(er)I found a sweet load of IMR Enduron 4451 for mine and a friend's 30-06 shooting 175gr Sierra MKs to be 55.8gr.
With both rifles having 24" barrels we are getting ~2725 fps.
Loads used Rem 91/2 primers, Rem brass and bullets were seated 3.30
These loads were worked up a .2 grain intervals starting a 54gr.
The Enduron sure reduces the copper fouling as advertised.
My rifle (Ruger 77 Mk II) has a custom trigger and a Leupold 3x9 and keeps 5 shot groups well inside an inch. My friend's rifle is a custom barreled Mauser 98 with heavy barrel and a Leupold 4.5x14 which keeps 5 shot groups well inside a half inch.
