I am just beginning to load for the 22-250 and will be working with IMR 4064 and the TSXFB. Looks like from research the loads recommended would be in the 35-37 gr area and for my rifle about 2.40-2.44 seating depth.

Have your worked with this load and if so what have your experiences been?

I've loaded that bullet before but not with IMR-4064, I was stuck on H380.
I couldn't get tiny groups with it but it was at .75 to an inch, good enough the Antelope never complained!
400 yard shot complete penetration broadside through lungs+shoulders.

Thanks SS. Yes, I saw the H380 come up often while searching but had the 4064 on hand. If it proves to be poor H380 will be my next purchase I suppose. I am hoping for a magical half inch but will be happy with .75 if that is what the rifle (and I) shoot.

I've used this bullet in my 22-250 with Varget for a couple of longer range shots on some smaller mule deer bucks here in Idaho.

Very effective and impressive with complete pass troughs at ranges in excess of 300 yards. Performed very well in the field and on paper just a whisper larger groups than the standard 50 grain NBT that I normally shoot.
