Ok, ran some ballistic variables thru the Hornady online calculator and also noticed on other calculators there are two categories for adjustments.

if for example, zero at 200 yards, there will also be an adjustment for MOA. Is that for scopes that have the tactical and mildot reticles?

It's for click counters.

IOW if your 200yd zero chart tells you that you'll be 20" low at 500yd, you could guess at hold over or you could raise your elevation adjustment by 4 MOA (16 clicks on a 1/4" or 1/4 MOA / click scope)
