Hey everyone. I'm reloading for a Taurus .44 Mag 4". I need some advice on how many grains to start with. I'm using Nosler 200Gr JHP's, Alliant Unique, and CCI #300 Primers. This is strictly a plinking/target shooting load. I also have H110 and some XTP 300Gr JHP's with CCI Mag primers. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It's been a lot of years but it seems like my old load in my super redhawk was 19.0 grains of H110 with the 300 XTP. The hotter the load, the better it shot.

As always, double check that against a load book reference.
