Hi, I would like some advice on the press that I now have, a RCBS Reloader Special-5. I understand this press is a cast, aluminum alloy frame and I presently only load 22-250 and 6.5X55 . What are my limitations with this press due to being made of aluminum and not cast iron? My interest is expanding. Can I load a cartridge like the 375 H&H or neck a case up or expand it? Any coments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you go to the rcbs home page and ask them these questions?I don't have this press but being a machinist,I don't see why cast aluminum won't hold uo to the bigger cartridges.

As long as you doing the standard sizing / seating the S-5 will be fine. What it won't handle is the heavy case forming or bullet sweging.
