any solvent including carb cleaner will do. Use a cotton ball or cloth to clean it out and gasoline, acetone, paint thinner....what ever you got. Immediately after cleaning the "crap" out of it give it a shot of die lube, one shot or whatever you use as a case lube. Then go to reloading. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." I loaded over 400 rounds of .204 Ruger. This last weekend when I was shooting, I noticed that some of the brass had a ring around the case just about a half inch below the shoulder. I will take the dies and soak them in slovent and then polish it out to see if that helps make it go away. No pressure problems or anything else though! "Its shootin' time somewhere!

non-chlorinated break cleaner in a spray can. This type will also no harm the stock finish if you use it in a barrel as well. Difficulty is inevitable Misery is optional
