gents:

I have an absolute pile of these on hand. can i use them in my new m70 7mm rem mag with a 26" barrel and a 160 gr bullet?

i'm very curious to learn about this caliber. it sounds very interesting!

what sort of velocity should I expect?

They will work just fine. Velocity will depend on the powder you choose.

jsl, I would start with RL 22 for 160's. Although my real favorite for 160-175gr is Retumbo. Every barrel is different so work up slowly but I get over 3000 in 160gr in a 25" barrel. Good luck with it.
