SmilerRecently I orderd 200 Remington 6.5 MM 120 grain bullets from Midway. When they arrived they were badly corroided and had deep dents and scratrches on them. I sent them back stating I could not believe Midway would sell bullets in such bad shape. I sent an e mail to see if my return and request for exchange for other bullets had arrived. Midway answered by Stating that my feed back as to the deploable condition of the bullets was very important to them as the whole bulk of these bullets were deemed "unsaleable at any price" and taken out of inventory". And that these bullets should have been removed some time ago and certianly never shipped out."

Hey Bob, That does speak well for Midway. Nice of you to do the follow-up report for AR.

I really don't think it says anything too great about Midway.
Frankly, it speaks poorly of them for shipping that crap out in the first place.

Midway did the right thing, as I was certain they would. But they could have sent you a couple pots of gold along with the bullets, come over and opened the boxes for you as they fed you a gourmet breakfast in bed, and someone still would have found a way to gripe and grumble about them.

No one is perfect, and mistakes do get made. Sure, someone should have caught the condition of the bullets before they went out. But it happened, and it's now history -- as is the fact that Midway is rectifying the situation.

Hey Bobby, I sure would like to tell you what a fine post you made, but saying it would apparently upset Spencer. And being the amiable fellow that I am, I'll just keep it to myself. jump

SmilerI will say enough for me and this Midway mistake. I won't go into what all went on between me and the people at Midway as it would bring out a bunch of crap about how perfect they are and how sorry Iam. They said it was a terrible mistake on their part to send them to me and they shouldn't have sold them to anyone at any price and that the whole bulk of those bullets would be taken off the shelves. And that is only what I said also. Enough about this anyway. thumb
