I have just acquired one of these. Is there anything special about reloading for this caliber. Any favorite loads?

Watch for the thick neck, and you may need to shim the brass (push it into the die a thou or two more) when resizing because of the spring back.

It's hard to meet the factory specs; and accuracy with the light bullets comes at full house pressure. The heavier bullets (i.e. the 69 Matchking) do well a little below red-line.

I'd refer you to the WSSMzone.com forum, but that site seems to have gone "poof". Too bad, it had a lot of good stuff. HTH, Dutch.

Watch your throat erosion, and count the number of rounds you put through it.

I've heard of 2 quality barrels chambered for this cartridge, both went south rather quickly. One in 900 rounds, and the other had .065 throat erosion after only 1500 rounds (went from vaporising PD's at 600yd to 1 1/2" groups at 100yd
