I am new here, however, I have been lurking and reading a good bit. I have especially found interesting the light loads with Blue Dot that Seafire has posted. I tried 20 and 21 grains in my .257 Roberts using 100 gr. and 75 grain bullets. The 75 gr. Hornady hollow points with 21 gr. have virtually the same POI as my full power loads with 117 grain bullets. I don't load up very hot as my rifle doesn't like near max loads. The Blue Dot loads are tremendously fun to shoot with no recoil, etc. Thanks for all the Blue Dot info. I may try it in my 7x57 and/or .280. Merganser

Just who is this seafire character.

I hear he is always loading cases up too hot, so why is it being said he is recommending these light recoiling safe Blue Dot loads?

Doesn't make sense, must be TWO seafire guys on here!

cheers

BBBruce & CarCANo

PS> Thanks and Welcome Merg!
