Truthfully, I have been sorry I decided to pursue the H&H cartridge. The 400 is not supported by H&H so for me it has been a guessing game regarding load development. Weaver rifles built the rifle, Robeson Cartridge co supplied the brass, and my cell phone barely cam up with load development.
Where to get .411 bullets?

Dang it, that wasn't easy, but I did find some Hornady, Hammer, North Fork and CEB. If id could have had my way I'd of just bought some tsx's and nothing else, but .411 is still unavailable.
So over the last few months I've resized and fireformed some WW .375 brass into 400, have trimmed and once fired some of the Robeson brass and the picture above is what happened yesterday with Varget powder. I am impressed with it all, but especially the 370 grain CEB's.

JTEXIt looks, like you have a shooter there. Bet it would smack a buff!

dpcdYou are overthinking this; use readily available .410 bullets. And make brass from 375.
As J said, shoot a buffalo with it.

outdooradVIDtureBarnes makes a 300gr 411 for the 405 Win. Don't know how it would hold up at 400 H&H velocities. Even on Barnes' website I can find nothing about a recommended velocity limit

I know it. Those CEB's don't interest me at all but they shoot, as do the North Forks.
I loaded up a box of each today.

I have made a box of reformed 375 brass. I have the robeson so I have proper head stamp. I've sized, trimmed and am fireforming one 400g bullet at a time.

My plan. Hopefully I'll use it on a moose or bear or two also.

Atkinson,410 and .411 are available from Woodeigh or soon will be again, as well as others or were at least..They were/are primarily for the 450-400 3" and 3.25" double rifles..and bullets were/are desgned for 2100FPS. and for that reason alone the caliber failed to attract the hunters I am told, and I suspect that was a factor..however in a good handload it has to be a farmable caliber.
