In looking over some of my reloading notes. I see a load for 30-30 win. The load is for 23.3 grains of IMR4198 with a 170 grain flat nose. This seems a little on the warm side, I checked my manuals and that's at least a grain if not two too high.I
Would one of you folks check quick load for me to be sure?

Just a quick look at your load on QL shows a pressure of 34,464 psi. SAAMI P-Max for the 30-30 Win is 42,000 psi. QL sees nothing wrong with your load but it's a computer program and has been known to be less then accurate from time to time.

Thank you, I know it was a good load once apon a time. And Nosler use to list it. But most of the newer data has reduced or dropped IMR 4198.
