Hello all, I've been given a lot previously fired crimped brass. I don't crimp because I use a bolt action hunting rifle. All I would do with this would be to full length resize, fire and then just neck size from then on, but the previous crimping marks are making me nervous. What do you chaps advise? Okay to proceed or just bin them? Aside from the crimping marks around the last millimeter of the neck the brass looks good. Can't figure out how attach a photograph? Many thanks. In the UK. Hi Obi, welcome to the wonder full world of reloading. The crimp will not affect your loads. Check the overalllength (oal) if they are too long the most of the crimp will be trimmed off. I would square off the case mouth any way .chamfer inside and out

+1 After a trim and chamfering the previous crimp will not be a factor.
