SS Pin Separation Question

Probably been asked before but I can't find it if it has. When it comes time to separate the pins from the brass. After all (well most) of the water has been poured off, would it be possible to pour SS pins and brass in a vibratory cleaner with the auto separate feature. Then to pull the plug and let the vibratory cleaner finish the process? Just a thought. Has anyone ever tried this. Would appreciate all input. Not looking for an easier way just want to know if this works.

Thanks in advance
Doug

I got rid of my vibratory tumbler. Are you just trying to separate the cases from the ss pins? If so, I use something like the Dillon Media separator, running water over it while I use it.

+1 on Exactly the Dillon media separator. I have used it for years. Remember to watch large primer pockets for cross pins.

I use an old mouse lab cage.
Just shake the living daylights out of the cases while submerged 20-25 seconds and they are empty and ready for the oven.
