Who in the hell told you it was illegal to reload in Mass?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Didn't you hear? It is a conspiracy on the federal level. It is not only Massachusetts. Here in California they are going door to door (or garage to garage) taking away everybody's primers and brass. I decided to bury all my ammo and guns in my backyard.

Well, its not banned there, but most if not all mail order houses will not ship components there as residents need to show their FID cards for stuff like that. None of the mail order houses want the liability so they simply just won't ship there. Residents can also simply cross the state lines and buy what they want and take it home.

Most definitely not banned however.

But you might also be interested in this link for states that support the recent upsurge in "marking" bullets and stuff with indentifiers of some sort.

Worth a look to see how its spreading.

Well ok Im glad you guys set me straight. I did read in some publication that it was illegal. Then I saw that mail order houses would not ship there so i guess I speculated about it. Illbet Ted Kennedy would like to ban it though!! How hard is it to get a Firearms id card in Mass.? I heard that guns like the AR are banned like Calif. How hard is it to own a pistol in Mass? Clips over 10 are banned right. I guess I take for granted my gun liberties by living in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Hard to believe but we still have high capacity mags here !!! All you need is a Class A high Capacity Pistol permit. I have plenty of ARs, AKs, a FAL, .22, 9mm,.40, and .45 semi autos. I will admit it's a screwed up state, I can't wait to be out of here in 3-5 years. I just hope I don't die before moving !!!

let me tell you about a buddy of mine.
He was a local LEO, SWAT and Warrant team member.
there was a multi-department traing on day and a personally owned Glock came up missing that was left on the SWAT van. the 5 people who had been seen near the van earlier were put on the machine since they all denied knowing anything about it.
The detective running the polly and my buddy had been on the outs for 3 months. my buddy busted a house that the dick had a man in and it blew the big deal and exposed the CI.

so while putting my friend on the machine he was making smartass remarks like "I hope you did it" and hinting at screwing him over by saying "alot of this is on the operator".
So my buddy stayed on the box for 1 and a half hours while the dick would step out of the room for a smoke then come back and ask a question then leave again.
well the test came back inclonclusive and afterwards my buddy jacked up the detective in the hallway and had a few choice words with him.
as a side note, he may or may not have been using .... prefomance enhancers.
Anyway... feeling he was fired for his physical altercation with the dick he went home, got drunk and proceeded to shoot up all his uniforms and gear w/ a rifle.

So the dept, after his outburst and subsequent damage to dept property got a judge to commit him to a psych hosptital for 10 days.
In the meantime they went to his home without a warrant under the guise of picking up his department issued gear and searched the house top to bottom.
They found a chap 25 auto that he had taken off a 13 year old kid one night and not charged. the pistol had an obscured serial number.
They siezed all his reloading equipment all of his guns and charged him federaly with possesion of bomb making materials in conjunction with the reloading equipment.
in the end he got probation and lost his job and reputation.
Oh and the guy who started this and said his glock was missing in the first place had put it under the front seat of his POV in the parking lot and forgoten it was there.

so if a cop in SC can be jacked up on bomb making charges for having a few 8 pound cans of H4895 and some trail boss, then youd better bet your sweet-ass that you can get jammed up in MASS.

Out here in Kommyfornia when we need anything we just bribe a couple of illegals to get it for us .

See they have a " Wonder - full " policy here the INS or Law enforcement can't ask for I D's , For Illegals !.
( We Kommyfornian's refer to it as Wonder Who was Full of what when they wrote that one !, hence the name ).

Something to do with illegal immigration policy's or harassment or something like that !.
How ever if your a citizen of the US they can shove your sorry ass in the slammer until a charge comes to mind . If they can't think of one or the DA says it wouldn't fly in court . They then drop all charges with no explanation . How ever not before those who confiscated your property have divided it among themselves .

Ever petition the court for the return of your property ?. I did once !.
They told me it had been sent too the San Diego Sheriffs Dept. to be destroyed .

Wait Wait I was exonerated of the charges I proclaimed . Petition the court for the return of your property I was told . I did along with $ 75.00 fee this was in the early 70's !.

The long of it short the Sheriffs Dept. NEVER RECEIVED IT !. The JUDGE liked and STOLE IT !.

Ever try to sue a Judge ? one who presided over your hearing ???. I didn't need my attorney to tell me HELL HAD FROZE OVER !.

Years later someone broke into his house or car or some shit stole that Walther PPK .Some time later it was used it in a robbery !. They traced the SN's back to ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Only I had kept ALL the Paper work from the Court and the Sheriffs office ,23 years later!. NO ONE was interested in how MY WALTHER ended up NOT being destroyed ?,when supposedly it had been 23 years earlier !. True Story !.

This same shit goes on in every state, everywhere! They think the badge and gun means they are above the law. In the last couple years we have had deputy sheriff from neighboring counties busted for child molestation-9 counts on boys- he was also a boy scout troop leader, counterfieting, embezelment. City cops for rape, multiple counts, correction officer had a runaway living with him and having sex and on and on. Now whenever I look at one, or read a post by one of them, my brain starts wondering what they have been up to.I used to post on a forum where almost all the moderators were cops or x-cops, or wannabees, what a fucking nasty mess(lying, cheating, censoring, reading you private messages, threats, on and on.), I didn't ask, but instead told them to get my name off their membership, and have NEVER ventured back there again, never will either. Most of the problems arose from two now x-cops, a deputy sheriff from Kaliforniastan and a State trooper from NY, I could just tell whenever I read one of their post that the skeletons were trying to get out of the closet, not a good feeling! No replies needed as just my .02 Stereotyping? I don't know, just reading the odds. Big Grin

Cops are simple and have two modes, targeting you or helping you.
As quickly as possible when interacting with a cop, get him distracted and focused on helping you.

The Samurai could not own property.
We do not allow cops to get rich from being cops.

This is a self sacrificing job with a reward of macho dominance over others.

Create the illusion that they are in control and have no challenges to their authority.

It is as easy as working with poisonous snakes.
The trick is not getting bitten.

I am 56 years old, and have never been arrested.
I have been very close, many times, but talked my way out of it.

My complaint wasn't against Law Enforcement per say . The Legal system in which they work .

Cops are only Human like everyone else they make mistakes . Try not having an attitude when rift raft scum bags fire on you for a traffic violation and more than likely you wouldn't be around long .

Poor knowledge of the actual LAW is to blame for many an error in judgment calls !.

How ever Lawyers and Judges had better well know the law it's their F ing job to know it .

At last some are better at their jobs then others !.

What I find extremely scary is the Supreme Court is actually attempting to figure out what the second amendment to the Bill of Rights says !.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Well it seems pretty straight forward to me given the period in time of which it was written .

What is totally UNCLEAR to me is How the State Militia's became the NATIONAL GUARD ??. Anybody care to elaborate on this in the political forum ?.
Please PM me and I'll have a look for sure .

To my way of thinking the States Militia was to prevent Federal insurgency , there for how can the National Guard be a State agency when it's funded by the Feds ?. Something is real wrong right there .

Antonin Scalia says that is so tyrants can't disarm the militia.

I think he gets it.

I'll bet they all GET it.

There are just some who worship government that WANT a tyrant to disarm the militia.

It is in THEIR interest that the 2nd is unclear.

tnekkcc, I'm not quite sure how to understand your post?? I sense a bit of sarcasm but then again I have only been up a short while today. I can assure you, as a police officer myself, cops are alot more complicated than you have lead yourself to believe. I do not wish people fear me but, only respect me for what I am. If somone shows respect they will recieve that respect in kind. I am not above the laws I uphold but, to the contrary, I hold myself to a higher standard than I did as a civilian. This is because what I do reflects on not only me but, my department and family.

Please refrain from lumping the police that you have dealt with in the past with all others as they may have been the exception and not the rule.

The experiment by Stanley Milgram in 1974 showed the horrible results if people are given authority over others.
As they said when the country was formed, "All men would be tyrants."
But just as quickly as police can be emotionally corrupted by their authority, they can be manipulated through suggestion and re direction.

quote:
Stormtrooper: Let me see your identification.
Obi-Wan: [with a small wave of his hand] You don't need to see his identification.
Stormtrooper: We don't need to see his identification.
Obi-Wan: These aren't the droids you're looking for.
Stormtrooper: These aren't the droids we're looking for.
Obi-Wan: He can go about his business.
Stormtrooper: You can go about your business.
Obi-Wan: Move along.
Stormtrooper: Move along... move along.

That's the real trick, isn't it?

What does it all mean?
We can't just run off a policeman when he is making an ass of himself, can we?
It requires a different strategy.
I suggest talking about being lost in the first sentence.

From a previous life of LE service I have come to accept that IF/ WHEN i am approached by a cop that I am most likely going to be in handcuffs when its all over with.

possible answers to cop questions
Q "May I ask you a couple of questions?"
A "that was one"

Q "May I speak with you alone"
A "whos gonna be alone me or you?"

Q "Are there any Weapons in the vehicle"
A "theres a lug wrench in the trunk and 18 gallons of flamable liquid in the tank"

Q "where are you headed tonight?"
A (pointing) " that way"

Q "were are you coming from this evening"
A (pointing) "that way"

Q "Have you had anything to drink tonight"
A "No thank you anyway, Im driving" ALSO " what did you have in mind"

Q "Do you mind if I search your vehicle"
A "not at all, as soon as you produce a signed search warrant"

I wont own a car that doesnt have keyless entry.
If im asked to step out of the car i lock the keys inside when i get out.

Thank god this "Ammunition Accountability" bill is the laughing stock of the Arizona House & Senate right now. I'm mean, the liberal that proposed this bill(Martha Garcia) must have some sack on her to bring this nonsense to Arizona. Hell, not only are democrats in the minority in both houses, some of those democrats are of the very rare, gun toting, NRA member variety.

I wish I could have been in that session when Garcia introduced that bill.

Garcia: "Members of the house, I would like to introduce to you the Ammunition Accountability Act. This act only requires that every round of ammunition sold in this state have a serial number on it, and for the state to maintain a database of those numbers."

Entire House Floor: *crickets*

Majority Leader: Uh, yeah. Thanks. Moving on next we have...

Currently we have this bill sitting with 2 co-sponsors, no support, and no hope of passing the house, much less the senate. Once it gets past that, it will have to be signed by our Democrat governor. The same governor who signed our Castle Doctrine bill into law not too long ago. These gun grabbers may try again, but for now this bill has no hope of ever passing.
