My 357 Mag Carbine and 357x44 B&D Marlin 1894 shoot real good with the Speer 170 gr. Gold Dot Flatpoint. Is this bullet up to ventilating a Whitetail reliably? Keep the range under 100 yards and put the bullet where it should go, and it will work. | |||

I shoot 158 rem sp in my 94 killed very deer I shot with it. I don't see why 170GDSP would not work. | |||
