Just finished barreling a Savage action in 280 Ackley. Any shooters of this caliber out there with match bullet load data? I'm shooting a 28" heavy varmint barrel (.850").

Also had a custom 280 Ackley barrel put on a Savage. Mine has a 27 inch #6 heavy sporter SS barrel. Have been shooting it for a month mainly doing load development for Barnes bullets but have also shot limited Qty Nosler ballistic tips and Sierra 150 gr HPBT Match. Still early but accuracy with the Barnes proving to be quite good with many sub MOA groups, including some less than half inch. My goal is medium distance hunting, ie 200 to 600 yd.
