At one time accurate powder sold a powder know as 2200. They had limited loading data on it.Some caliber were not listed due to lack of research and development on said cartridges. This is a ball powder orginally designed byk the Czechs for the 7.62x39. Its very similar to BallC-lot 2. has anybody out there done or have any loads for the 357 mag,or 300 Sav. in this powder. Or the 7mmTCU???????? vangunsmith

here's a link to AA's data... and if you call Accurate, they may have additional data. I have used 10+ lbs in a 223, and also use it in 221 and 222 Rem. Burn rate appears to be between RL7 and H322. http://www.varminthunters.com/tech/accurate.html

I have worked with it in .223. It is quite a bit faster than BL-C2, in fact much more like 4198 or RL 7. The only other cartridge I've tried it in is a K-Hornet. It is too slow for optimum velocities in this case.

I have used a lot of it and still have about 8lbs.There are perhaps 10 different cartridges I have loaded with it and developed something close to a maximum in each.It has a different appearing burning rate depending on what cartridge you use it on.I've talked to tech types at accurate powders about this and they KIND of concurred with that. Some times it's close to 4198 and at other times it looks like 3031?? In the .444 marlin it appears to be even a great deal slower than 3031. I have safely used 58gr. of it behind a 240gr. jacketed bullet. This would lead you to believe that it was a hair slower in burning rate than 2230 and in that cartridge it is.In some of the smaller caliber cartridges I have used more 3031 than I could use 2200. Again this was discussed with people at Accurate and they said that was just the nature of the beast. From the data I have collected it would look like you could safely use IMR 4198 loading data as a start. I would be glad to discuss this further with you by E-Mail and share what information I have. It would be handy if you knew the useable capacity of your cartidges. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward.
