first time reloader (yes 1st time) need some advice.i have a 375h&h mag.picked up a bag of rem brass.what type primers do i need?i see large primers as well as large mags. what types or brands of powder would work best?looking at bullets,swift a frame. what game would you use the following on? 250 gr, 270gr, 300gr.i have some reloading books everyone i know reloads shotgun and has no interest in rifle. advice is needed.

Primers - the rule-of-thumb is magnum primers for any charge over 65 grains. The 375 H&H uses large rifle magnum primers.

Powder - check the data on this site as well as powder and bullet manufacturer's sites. I have had good results with H-4350, but many powders will work.

Bullet selection depends on the intended use. My choice is Speer 285 Grand Slam for anything I would need. I have some 300 gr. solids, but I don't think I'll need them.
