| Yes I have used Reloader-23 in the 8mm Remington Magnum and got very good results at long range. Very clean burning and I think it has an edge over RL22 for the bigger cases. A good friend of my is using it in his .338 Lapua Mag and swears by the powder. I tried the RL-26 as well but found it really likes a heavy bullet of 250 or more grains. I'm limited to finding bullets of 220 max now days and have no real data for you on this powder.

| I'm using RL26 in a 243AI with 105gr Hornady Match HPBT. It is amazing! I'm getting over 3300fps with a 26" Hart barrel. I have shot this load in temperatures from 76f to 92f with no variation in performance. There is also little to no copper when cleaning. RL26 is the only one of the new Alliant powders that I have used.
IF YOU'RE GONNA GET OLD,YOU BETTER BE TOUGH!! GETTIN' OLD AIN'T FOR SISSIES!!

What bullet are you using in the Big 8? I have shot mine at 1000yds using the 200Gr NAB and 7828 SSC. I am interested in trying RL 23.

| I can find no other information about RL 16 other than it is a new powder on the market. Is it even on the market yet ? I'm thinking it may be a good powder for some medium bore rifles. In particular 35 Whelan, 35 Whelan Imp, 9.3x62 and the larger 9.3x64. Does anyone with Quickload have any suggestions on some loads in these or other calibres and possible velocities. |

| Jiri Maybe someone can correct me but I understand that RL 15, RL19,RL22 and RL 25 are all made in Sweden. Rl 17 is a new type of powder that is made in Switzerland. RL 16, RL 23 and RL26 are all made in Switzerland and are of the same family of powder as RL 17. Don't know much else about it. |
