Picked up several boxes of 375 H&H 1-Fired brass. Just curious if anyone knows who makes this brass ? Texture of the brass looks "European" but who knows. Thanks for any comments you can share.

They made a lot of their own. Soft and way out of design with .375 Wby brass I bought. Try one loaded up first...

I have a few different brands of 375H&H brass on hand. I weighed each brand I have and came up with the following:
Win brass 242 gr average (3 cases)
Rem 253 grs
A-Sq 255 grs
Norma 255 grs
Fed 246 grs
Not a huge difference in volume between different brands. Win is often harder than other brands and will often tolerate heavier loads. Was hoping someone who had actually loaded the A-Sq brass could compare loads they had used.

My actually loaded A-Square .375 Wby brass soon had loose pockets, half the life of Weatherby brass, soft like NORMA .375 H&H fireformed brass. I also had case separation on Remington brass after less than ten reloads, FWIW. Not guessing here...

Sadly, the A-Square brass we have tried are also relatively soft, and won't load as well as others.

I would not buy it if I had a choice.

Trouble is, some of the A-Square calibers one has to use A-Square brass.

My apology Guys if my input is too meticulous . Due to my education and demeanor I was left with NO choice but to be excruciating, exacting scientifically. Survive in my environment or perish. No choice.

On the matter of brass there are home spun practical experiences and reasonable results.
