Sizing 375 H&H cases for cast bullets

I have some cast 250 grain plinkers on order. Question: What's the best way to size the cases. I have a Lyman M die to expand the necks for case bullets. Should I size with standard Hornady sizing die as normal, then expand with the M die to allow the cast bullets to seat without shaving lead? Any tips on loading cast in the H&H would be appreciated. You could just size the outside of the necks by removing the expander ball. I use a cast bullet flaring die like you describe.

I load the cast bullets up to 2,200 fps in the .375 H&H and .375 Fire Formed. I use linotype, gas checks, a kapox wad and 3031 powder. These loads are accurate.

(Fire Formed is correct term for an "improved cartridge")

I suppose the same way you do on handgun cartridges when using cast bullets.

Normal resize and then an expander to "flare" the case mouth.
