Get the RCBS Rockchucker kit. There is less and more expensive equipment, the RCBS is quality consistant stuff at a mid-range price that IMO is the best place to start with. If you get really serious into reloading you may add other stuff later but the RCBS is a rock-solid place to start.........DJ

I am in the process of purchasing a single stage reloading press. Most likely in a kit form. I am considering an RCBS, Lyman, and Hornady. I am leaning towards a Hornady. No good reason I guess. Something different I suppose. What are the pros/cons of each? Thanks, TTS

IF it was me I would buy the RCBS Rockchucker. I would also stay clear of most lee products. Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.............

I'm buying a rock crusher kit cause of asking a simular question it will be in just after christmas.it seemed to me the general consenses of post i asked and others was the rockcrusher to be the best deal.I didn't say the very best press cause that depends on you and your needs do you need a progressive or single me i can get away with single and my personal friends suggest this for accuracy over the progressive is this true i don't know but i don't need progressive cause i'm not reloading in big quantities so it's good enough for me

I've got both the rockchucker and the lee press i've both used for over 20 yrs i would give the rcbs a slight edge that being said ive loaded thousands of round through the lee and there is'nt a damb thing wrong with it but the lee progresive i got im not thrilled with maybe i just don't use it enough to get proficiemt with it
